Azaleas In Wonderland

20 Apr

Recently we went to an estate sale that didn’t work out to have any thing I wanted to buy. But there was a beautiful yard full of all kinds of flowers, including lots of azaleas. I didn’t see any rabbits or rabbit holes, but there were a few squirrels. It reminded me a lot of my grandma’s yard. She loved flowers too and had all kinds. Here are a few choice shots:

Big Dogwood!

Close up!

I’m not sure what this last one is called, it was close to the ground and had spiky green foliage. It was a nice yard, you could tell the lady had put a lot of years of hard work into it. If it had been my grandmother’s there would have also been several irises as well. It was still a lovely yard. Hope you’re week is blooming with possibilities! Angela

Beautiful! The last picture looks like phlox. I have several in the yard and they have flowers from lavender to pink. You don’t notice them until they bloom in the spring. Glad you enjoyed the yard even if the sale didn’t have anything for you. There’s always next time!

I did enjoy the yard and thinking about my grandma. I’m sure there will be lots of estate sales and yard sales soon that I get a nice haul from. Thanks Steph! :)
