About

A little about me. I was a wife. Now I’m a girlfriend. I am a mom. Now I am also a grandma. I used to prepare taxes, now I sell insurance. I like Harley’s, but own a Mustang. I like fast cars, and watching movies with lots of car chases and things that go boom.  So this blog will probably have posts about some of these things.

I have several odd collections of a variety of things,  and look forward to sharing interesting bits and pieces of discovery about new things with you.

I also like to recycle and try to take care of our world, so there is something here for my grandkids to enjoy later. You may see information about green sites or things of interest related to recycling or companies like Terra-Cycle.

I didn’t ask for the life I have, but I’m glad to be where I am now. I enjoy my life with my family and friends. We play games, work on puzzles, plant things, read books, watch movies, plan trips, find good places to eat, and fun places to go.

Oh, and a few things I don’t like to do. I don’t like to cook. Ever. But will when I have to. So if you want to know about cooking, recipes or anything like that I will send you to another blog, www.kitchenstuffilove.com by a friend of mine. I would eat dirt if she had a recipe for it.

I am not a shopper either. It also comes in the category of I do it when I have to, but don’t try to make me. Ask my boyfriend. I don’t like it.

I’m not a morning person, but being a responsible working woman I am up and on my job first thing Monday – Friday. Weekends are thankfully days I can sleep late, and I try to as often as possible. I do like Saturday morning yard sales, but you will find me closing them down instead of starting them up. I love the “Put it all in a bag for a dollar” offers you get when everyone is hot and tired and ready to close down. I get some great deals!

So, that’s a little bit about me. Hang around. We’ll get to know each other soon! If you want to contact me by email you can at: endure1231 (at) gmail dot com. Talk to ya later!

Hi Angela: Thanks for visiting Grandma’s Briefs today! I appreciate it. And I love your honesty here about cooking and shopping, or NOT cooking and shopping. You’re my kind of gal!

You need to change your thing so that when you post, people can reply to your email.. LOL, right now, it is on the no reply thing.
As for my apartment… We are staying, they have always been great until now… I think after it is all taken care of, we will be having a heart to heart on this…
Just want it resolved first! lol

I will have to try and figure the email thing out, thanks. I didn’t know it was set that way. It’s good that they have always been good to you. :) Hopefully they can fix this quick for you. You have certainly been waiting long enough in my opinion. My email is endure1231 (at) gmail (dot) com, if that helps. :) It wouldn’t let me type it out like a regular email either…..hmmmmm……

    Hi Angela,

I did a short rag rug tutorial on my blog. I’m not sure how clear it is so if you have questions please let me know!

    Thanks!

I loved your post of August 5 where you talked about the Shanghai Sewing Machine Shop. I saw an article in the China Daily about the same place. Where is it? I haven’t gone out on the streets looking for it, but i can find no trace of it on the internet. Is it located where the original shop was? (And where is that?)

I really want to go visit this place–just need some directions!

    Thanks, Jean
